Early Bird Trip
We are pleased to be able to offer our popular Early Bird Trip again. Choose from the trips run by ourselves or the collaborative trips with the Wildlife trust BCN.
We set off at 6am from the historic St Ives quay passing under St Ives bridge, meandering up the river looking and listening for as many different bird species as we can find, guided by our on board expert. We will continue through Hemingford Lock and return to St Ives by 8am.

Houghton Mill Trip
Join us for a wonderful boat trip to Houghton Mill, followed by a tour of the mill. The trip will leave the quay in St Ives heading under St Ives Bridge towards Hemingford Lock and on to Houghton. The trip includes a tour of Houghton Mill and will be led by one of their volunteer guides, returning to the quay at the end of the day. This trip is run in conjunction with the National Trust and is proving popular for everyone. National Trust members prices available.

Coffee & Cake Cruise
Why not treat yourself on your visit to St Ives. Take a boat trip along our beautiful river, followed by a cup of coffee or tea and a cake. The Riverport Café & Bar is located less than 5 minutes walk from the quayside at The Corn Exchange in the Market Place and you can choose your cake from the daily selection on offer. Buy an all inclusive ticket to include your boat trip and your coffee & cake online or at the quay. This special offer is available on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays and sailing times are 11am and midday to allow you time to relax in The Riverport Café afterwards.

The Manor
Hemingford Grey
The Manor was built in 1130 and is believed to be the longest continually inhabited houses in the UK. It was lived in by Lucy Boston the famous children's author from 1939. Join us for a cruise from St Ives followed by a tour of The Manor, enjoy this wonderful house and gardens situated in the beautiful Ouse Valley.

Crafty Cruises
Working in collaboration with The Snug Micro Pub located in The Free Church Passage, St Ives we are pleased to offer a beer tasting experience with a difference. Starting at The Snug for your first drink and an opportunity to improve your knowledge about craft beers. You will then join us for an hour cruise tasting selected beers and soaking in the beautiful surroundings of the river. You will return to The Snug for your final beer and a seat at a pre booked table to complete the experience.

Mindfulness Trip
Join us for an evening of relaxing contemplation along the River Great Ouse. Experience the calming effect of an evening cruise whilst travelling in one of our Electric Riverboats. Poetry and contemplation will be provided by Dee, Mindfulness Coach and we may even get to see a sunset....

A new introduction for 2025, we are very excited to be teaming up with Rumpoles of St Ives to offer a Wine Tasting Tour. Starting at Rumpoles of St Ives in Bridge Street for an introduction and your initial tasting, you will then head to the quay where you will join us at St Ives Electric Riverboat Co. Continue your tasting experience as we cruise along the scenic River Great Ouse enjoying the beautiful surroundings at the same time.

Wine Tasting Tour

We are very pleased to be repeating the very popular Cream Tea Cruise in collaboration with The Cock in Hemingford Grey. The cruise departs from the quay heads up the river towards Hemingford lock enjoying the beautiful surroundings and river on the way. Passing through the lock we will arrive at Hemingford Grey where The Cock is only a 5 minute walk from the river. You will be served your pre ordered, freshly made Cream Tea in the relaxing surroundings. Then enjoy your return trip by boat to St Ives quay.

Twilight Trip
Repeating our successful Twilight Trip why not join us for an evening adventure of bat detecting, owl spotting and maybe some astronomy. The river is a magical place in the twilight. We will cruise up the river through St Ives Bridge looking and listening for the different types of bats that live along our river. If we are lucky enough we may even get to see the Daubenton's bat feeding from the river surface.
